Hanger Consignments was founded by Paige with the mission to promote conscious clothing consumerism and provide an environmentally-conscious approach to fashion. Originally located at A9 Westlake Square in Westlake, the store recently moved to Shop Unit 1, The Spar Centre in Hout Bay (next to The Crazy Store). Open Monday-Friday 9am-4pm with free parking. The business operates both as a physical boutique and online through their website and Instagram (@hanger_consignments). The consignment process is hassle-free: sellers contact Paige, items are inspected for excellent condition (high standards!), photographed, advertised on Instagram, and sold either in-store or online. Sellers receive payment via EFT when items sell. Accepts drop-offs at Cape Town office or through Pargo collection service. Started during COVID, the business has grown significantly with customers praising Paige as 'the most efficient, friendly, organized and professional girl in the business.' Featured in Wellness Warehouse community articles and Stellenbosch Culture as a leader in sustainable fashion. Uses local entrepreneurs for shop fittings including Tatenda Woven Baskets for pendants, The Drying Room for dried flower wreaths, and Kikki & Franki for wall plaques.
